Mata is created on the land of the Arakwal people, of the Bundjalung Nation, the Traditional Owners and ongoing custodians of the land which we work here in Byron Bay, Australia.

We honour the First Nations peoples culture and connection to land, sea and community. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.

And we extend that respect to the Traditional Owners throughout Australia, wherever these stories are filmed and read.
